We have two areas of focus, Pilates and Health Coaching. Our Pilates Studio follows a classical method tailored to the individual. Building core strength, balance, flexibility, and mobility can be transformative and we believe it can happen at any age or fitness level. Our mission is to bring healthy movement to the North Oregon Coast. As Joseph Pilates stated, "You are only as young as your spine is flexible".
The virtual world has given us the ability to reach you anywhere to guide you toward elevated health and wellbeing through our Health Coaching programs. As a retired competitive runner, former Nike executive, and mother of two, I understand the importance of living into your healthiest self. While I’ve been physically fit my entire life and appeared to be the picture of wellbeing, signs began to arise that I was neglecting certain aspects of myself. I took a step back, dug in deep, and created a plan to live into my healthiest self. It required me to be fully present with myself, choose how I wanted to feel and where I wanted to give my energy. To this day, I often check in and ask myself; does this serve me in who I want to be?
A long time ago I asked my friends, “If I could do anything, what would you see me doing?” Overwhelmingly, they responded with one word: COACH. It wasn’t until I left Corporate did all the pieces start coming together and I realized what was truly important to me: sharing my passion for health and fitness with others. Perhaps it would have been an easier journey had I heard the COACH message earlier, but then I might not have all this amazing experience to serve others.
In my own practice of more than 15 years, Pilates has been life changing for me in mind, body and spirit. As a Peak Pilates® Comprehensive Certified Instructor, I’m excited to bring this incredible movement to our community. Additionally, as a Master Certified Health and Wellness Coach, I focus on individualized plans built for lasting change based on goals in nutrition, fitness, mindset, and lifestyle.
As an empty nester, my husband and I enjoy the quiet beach life; if I’m not teaching Pilates or coaching, you will find me running on the beach, sewing and quilting, or traveling the world.
